Extracurricular Activities
Our extracurricular programs provide children with exciting opportunities to explore new interests, build confidence, and develop new skills in a fun, supportive environment. Families can choose from a variety of enrichment classes, including soccer, dance, Spanish, and piano, giving children the chance to stay active, express their creativity, and expand their learning beyond the classroom.

Soccer Shots
Soccer Shots is a fun, age-appropriate soccer program designed specifically for young children. Through engaging games and positive coaching, children develop fundamental soccer skills while building confidence, coordination, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Each session encourages active play in a supportive environment where every child can learn, grow, and have fun—whether it's their first time on the field or they're already soccer enthusiasts.
Dance with Ms. Carrie
Ms. Carrie’s Dance Connections brings the joy of movement, music, and creative expression directly to our Holy Cross Early Learning Center students! Led by our Director, Ms. Carrie, a lifelong dance educator with decades of experience, this optional enrichment program introduces children to the fundamentals of dance (tap, ballet and jazz) in a fun, nurturing, and age-appropriate environment.
Through imaginative movement, rhythm activities, balance, coordination, and creative expression, children build confidence, develop gross motor skills, and foster a lifelong love of music and movement—all while having fun with their friends. Classes are designed to encourage self-expression, teamwork, and a positive attitude, making every child feel successful both on and off the dance floor.
Whether your child is dancing for the very first time or already loves to move, Ms. Carrie’s Dance Connections provides a joyful introduction to the world of dance right here at HCELC!

Spanish with Ms. Rubi
Spanish with Ms. Rubi introduces children to the Spanish language through fun, interactive lessons designed for young learners. Using songs, games, stories, movement, and hands-on activities, children build vocabulary and practice everyday words and phrases in a playful, engaging environment. Ms. Rubi's warm and encouraging teaching style helps children develop an appreciation for a new language while building confidence and cultural awareness.
Piano with Ms. Dominique
Piano with Ms. Dominique introduces children to the joy of music through fun, hands-on piano lessons designed especially for young learners. Children explore basic piano skills, rhythm, melody, and music fundamentals while developing listening skills, concentration, coordination, and self-confidence. Ms. Dominique creates a positive and encouraging environment where children can discover a love of music at their own pace.
